Education & Counseling Librarian
As a Warner School student, you'll have access to your own librarian, who serves much like a research coach. The Education and Counseling librarian will:
- Help you find the highest quality books and articles for your research.
- Assist in brainstorming/concept mapping/focusing your research questions.
- Show you tips and tricks for efficient research.
- Introduce you the best tools for tracking your research and managing your citations.
- Help you navigate research for literature reviews and research proposals.
- Connect you with other library staff to help.
- Be a sounding board when you’re just not sure what you need

Starting Sept 10, 1-2:30pm on Zoom
Join the Libraries for Data Bloom, a series of data visualization workshops. Learn how to effectively create attractive data visualizations in one or all of our workshops... then show off your work in the Data Bloom contest for honor, glory, and prizes!
Friday, Sept 12, 4-5pm on Zoom
Learn about Zotero, a tool to help you manage your references, create accurate citations, and take notes on papers you read for research!
Monday, Sept 15, 4-4:45 p.m. on Zoom
In this 45-minute session, students will be introduced to some tools and strategies to help ensure their success. This session is intended as an introduction so students can discover some tools or practices to fit their needs.
Students will learn a little about a lot of things:
- Note-taking tools and practices for research and writing
- Organization and task breakdown
- Time management tools
- Citation management
