Application Deadlines

All applicants are required to submit a complete application by midnight of the deadline. Only completed applications received by the deadline will be considered by the Admissions Committee. Applications received after a deadline or that are incomplete will be rolled over to the next appropriate deadline.

The next priority application deadline is November 1, 2026. The application is closed and will reopen on September 2, 2026.

We welcome applications on a rolling basis for MS, EdD, and Advanced Certificates. For priority enrollment and financial aid, apply as soon as possible. Apply anytime during the November 1 application cycle to start as early as spring or summer 2027.

International applicants

International applications will open on September 2 and will also have a priority deadline of November 1 for the earliest entry term of Fall 2027.

PhD applicants

PhD applications will open on October 1 and close on December 15. PhD applications are accepted once per year.

Notes on Deadlines

Financial aid awards are made in all admissions cycles.
Full-time elementary, early childhood, ESOL, world languages and middle childhood education students seeking initial certification must begin study in the Summer in order to complete their program of study within 15 months. Secondary education students seeking initial certification are encouraged to begin study in the Summer. All teaching and curriculum students who plan to complete in 15 months are required to begin in the Summer.
PhD applications are only accepted during the December 15 application deadline.
International students begin in the Fall semester only.
