The Warner School of Education and Human Development and the School of Arts & Sciences offer a 4+1 Master’s Program designed exclusively for ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ undergraduates. How the 4+1 Works
Students may take up to 12 graduate credits at Warner during their undergraduate studies. These courses count toward both your bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
By the start of your fifth year, pending you have met the prerequisites, you will matriculate into your chosen Warner MS program and complete the remaining requirements. Depending on the program and credits you completed as an undergraduate, you could finish your MS program in as little as one year (it may include a summer term for some programs).
When to Apply
ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ undergraduates may apply to the 4+1 program during their sophomore or junior year. .
Applications to your graduate program of interest—pending the successful completion of your 4+1 requirements and maintaining good academic standing in your Warner graduate coursework—are submitted during your senior year directly to the Admissions Office at the Warner School of Education and Human Development.

- Teaching & Curriculum Programs: Applicants must meet New York State content prerequisites prior to matriculation.
- Higher Education, Human Development, Education Policy, Applied Behavior Analysis: No content prerequisites required.
